Medical Qigong is a gift of Chinese civilisation to mankind. It follows the principles of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). It is a way of influencing and directing Qi for medical benefits rather than by using needles, herbs or massage, although these can be supplementary. Medical Qigong has gained worldwide popularity in recent years. It has been used to treat all kinds of physical and emotional ailments, especially as complementary therapy for cancer. Grand Master Tan Soo Kong has vast theoretical knowledge, practical experience and hands-on expertise in the use of Medical Qigong approaches and techniques. Grand Master Tan’s compassion and yearning to help others inspired him to research and develop a unique medical Qigong system and associated training program called Wellness Medical Qigong (WMQ).
WMQ focuses on health maintenance, health enhancement, self-healing methodology and techniques of treating others.
The philosophical framework of WMQ training to achieve the above benefits is as presented below:
WMQ teaches participants how to activate, enhance, circulate, direct and store internal Qi and to harness external Qi. It will improve health, bring about self-healing and enable to treatment of others by using various techniques of Qi transmission.
Once a person understands Qi, he can activate his internal Qi, then circulate and direct it for self-healing. In additional, he has to learn to gather external Qi in order to further enhance the healing process. The techniques of storage and conservation of Qi are also important components of self-healing methodology.

In 1986 the Indian philosopher Shrii P.R. Sarkar introduced, what he referred to as "Microvita, the mysterious emanation of cosmic factor". Microvita ("micro-life") can be viewed as the smallest particles making up and influencing all living matter, starting from Carbon atoms. It is a new line of thinking and scientific theory, complementary to energy principles. The first lecture is a general introduction, providing some historical context and covering Sarkar's main microvita related topics.
In the second lecture we will look at how and to what extend microvita theory relates to different creation philosophies, including the Cycle of Creation, Guna creation theory and Chinese cosmology. It will be shown that while the approaches are different, they are mutually enriching. Also the geometrical origin of sound and color will be demonstrated.
In the final lecture we will explore the underlying physical reality in greater depth, while demonstrating that it may require only a small modification to quantum theory in order to describe microvita principles in physics terms. The formulas will be few and simple.
Frank van den Bovenkamp MSc
Frank was born and lives in the Netherlands. Soon after graduating, he engaged himself in research, innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also a long time practitioner in the spiritual tradition. Frank is one of the few to date exploring the ground breaking creation theory (based on Microvita Science) of P.R. Sarkar in greater depth, sharing it in terms of spirituality and physics.
Frank invented the CardioGem and NeuroGem, highly innovative ECG / EEG diagnostic applications based on Sarkar's theory, concepts of wave matrix theory developed by himself and on early research of Institute of Heart Math. His products are used by health professionals, in clinics and by researchers worldwide.
His personal interests and research subjects cover the areas of bio-psychology, microvita cosmology (P.R. Sarkar) and (quantum) physics, with an emphasis on personal experience and realization. His work and ideas are used to help create a deeper scientific understanding of intuitional concepts.
Frank collaborates with entrepreneurs, creative and open-minded scientists, therapists, intuitional- and mainstream researchers, artists, spiritual practitioners and educators to deepen our understanding and develop practical uses and curriculum.
His teaching subjects include the fascinating effects of bio-psychological coherence, such as the geometric origin of sound and color, a unique explanation of the subtle plexi, of bio-psychology (chakra's) the origin of fractal patterns in nature and subspace vorticity.
Education: In 1987 Frank graduated from the Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) in electronics, with a minor in applied physics.
